Dominating the division eh?

#1 What makes you think Audley can take Vitali's punches?

#2 What in the world would make you think Vitali cannot take Audley's sorry shit?

You can't fight if your injured. On other hand, you can't beat Klitchko until you fight the bodies to earn the right. Audrey can't hang about once he gets fit. I'll give him 3 US journemen to whack about (1 a month) then he must fight someone with half a name and half a record at least before the end of the year. I'm talking winner of Koc/Sprott at least. If we wants a bit of recognition in America, what about Nolan or Nobles. He has to pick it up tho

If Audley is the most promising fighter in Britain, we may as well shut this site down and all go and watch wrestling.

Audley has been a so called pro since 2000. He has acheived fornicate all. He is British title material at very very best.

Someone like Alex Arthur is far more promising than Audley, who really is an imposter.

Theres no way that Audley could be called the most promising british boxer, not by any stretch of the imagination. What has he done to deserve being called the most promising british boxer? Precisely fornicate all. There are any number of british boxers out there with a lot more promise than Audley.

Mind you, going by your user name I wasn't expecting an impartial view. :TU:

He should try dominating the domestic scene first!. The truth is Audely is well away from even proving himself the best heavy in this country... injuries or not he should have done a lot more by now and to call him the most promising boxer in the country when we have fighters like Witter, Pickering, and Nicky Cooke is pretty farcical really!.

As Danny Williams once said, let prove Audley is the best in London first of all before even looking futher a field. Danny Williams and even Keith Long might argue otherwise.

I am far from convinced that Audely could beat Danny, Long or Skelton... while he has talent he 's yet to prove that he has the durabilty, stamina and heart to make it at the top as a pro and his insipid performance against Julius Francis sums this up. Audely should have gone out to ko Francis and gain a convincing win and instaed he seemed unsure and defensive and I think had Francis been in halfway decent shape he could have done much better.
I just don't think Audely's got it as a pro... the underlying problem is that the hunger isn't there imo.

Too early to say for sure, they have been fighting selected opponents to pad the record.

Froch has good power but a very bad defence, either way the latter decides his over all succes

Against Danny Williams we seen a classic case of a tall boxer dominating his smaller opponent, Williams couldnt get near Klitschko, however Audley is around the same height as Klitschko and posesses a lot more natural ability than Williams therefore could give Vitali a good going over.

To all you doubters out there:

Do not jump on the A-Force bandwagon with the media once he starts dominating the division, he will prove you all the mugs which you intend to be.

To be fair silkov, Audley clearly used the Francis fight to go 12 rounds and test his own stamina. He could of wiped out Francis any time during the fight but decided to give him a little jelly legs in the last round, sit on the canvas Francis.
Yeah but you just don't do that at the top of proffessional boxing... you don't treat big fights like sparring sessions and if Audely had wanted such experience he should have fought a name fighter of better ability.
As it is Audely often looked uncomfortable against Francis and I'm not sure he could have koed him when he wanted. Had Audely got a decent Ko win against Francis it would have been a credible result but going the distance like he did really damaged Audely's credibility and he's yet to make it up.
I've been to several of Audelys fights and he always had a huge build up before he went into the ring... you can't promise so much and then deliver so little and expect the fans to hold their interest.

He first has to give Mark Krence a rematch I'd say. :D

I still see those knees buckle. If a guy with a <33% KO quote can hurt him, he's just not made for the heavyweight division.

With a jab too.

A poorly executed one.

That merely glanced Audley's chin.

Audley needs to fight a name opponent after he recovers from his injuries. (by the way, what happened? how and where did he get injured?)
Someone like Bowe or Tua or Tyson or heck even old Holyfield would give him some exposure. Those guys still have some skills, and a name, but are all way past their better fighting days. If he beats them (any of them) then he will learn how to deal with the guys at the top and test himself against an experienced veteran. If he loses, then he will never amount to anything more then hype in the heavyweight boxing.

Even a guy like Sanders would be good, since they are both south paws. OR Kirk Johnson.

Move to the States and learn with Emanuel Stewart. He helped Lewin become champion. If he cant help Audley, then no one will.

Bizarre thread title.
AH could lay claim to be the least promising British boxer based on his credentials versus his achievements.
He turned pro what - half a decade ago? Since then he has proved injury prone, inactive, extremely nervous under pressure (only cruiserweight pressure so far) and little ambition considering the openess of the HW division and his advancing years.
He has shown nothing further than the talent he displayed at the Olympics. He's surely had the greatest promise-reduction of any active (well you know what I mean) British boxer.
