Im not in favour of it but obviously some are
That would be good viewing. But, considering DeGale's camp/FWarren already turned down £50,000 from Hayemaker to match Groves with DeGale on the Haye/Ruiz bill back in April, I can't see it happening for quite a while yet.

Deep down, I think DeGale's people know that Groves is quite a bit further down the line than DeGale right now.

DeGale will probably be matched with even more complete no-marks for his next 2/3 fights.
IMO lets let them build up against some Americans and Mexicans as well as fights for domestic titles... get some states profile too... if we are staying up to watch a title fight then how about trying to build that in 3 years time both 20-0 or thereabouts as chief support for a Vegas fight...

Sounds good :TU:

Just as long as they are properly primed, by that time, to step into the ring in a chief support fight on a card in Vegas.

Moderate steps up in class is key for me. That goes for both Groves and DeGale.

For sure it will be a stiff. The one and only point of the exercise is for Groves to look good on his American debut..

Anybody got any info on whether the JMM/Diaz fight will be on Sky?

I hope it is, otherwise it could be near enough impossible to see Groves' fight live from over here.

Still no news on George's opponent on the JMM/Diaz undercard?

Considering how tight they're leaving it, it'll surely only be a complete plum he'll get in there with!

Yep :TU:

Had a good feeling they would, considering they showed the first fight between the two.

With such a good undercard, I'm hoping Groves makes it onto the Sky coverage!
