There are nine fights on the bill so far, all of which will have some kind of title attached.
Were there seven originally? If so, which two have been added?
Why is this Al Legedly bill called 'The Magnificent Seven'?

I thought it was because there were 7 title fights but I might be wrong.
Re: Why is this Al Legedly bill called 'The Magnificent Seven'?
well if its anything like "THE NIGHT OF CHAMPIONS" it'll get down graded to the fantastic 4! then when the rest pull out, or can't get an opponent etc etc it'll become the dirty dozen! ![[icon_witsend.gif] :witzend:](./images/smilies/icon_witsend.gif)
Re: Why is this Al Legedly bill called 'The Magnificent Seven'?
The seven 12 round fights I'm guessing are the 'magnificent' ones, I'd have had no problem with Warren making something of the number 6(as 6 of the fights are either British, European or interim 'World' title fights), but making something of Degale's WBA International title is stupid.

It depends on who he fights.BigEars wrote:The seven 12 round fights I'm guessing are the 'magnificent' ones, I'd have had no problem with Warren making something of the number 6(as 6 of the fights are either British, European or interim 'World' title fights), but making something of Degale's WBA International title is stupid.

Could we perhaps merge the threads? Make it much easier to follow, and to find links etc.

Re: Why is this Al Legedly bill called 'The Magnificent Seven'?
Big-punching Welshman Enzo Maccarinelli makes the first defence of his European cruiserweight title against big-punching Ukrainian Alexander Frenkel on F rank Warren's Magnificent Seven show in Birmingham on September 18.
Maccarinelli showed he was far from finished when he won the EBU title with a stunning first-round stoppage of local man Alexander Kotlobay in Russia in April. It was a third straight first-round win for Maccarinelli, who had previously been struggling and was clattered in two rounds by Bermondsey banger David Haye.
Big Enzo, still only 29, looks rejuvenated under new trainer Karl Ince but has a dangerous challenger on his hands in the German-based Frenkel, who has knocked over eight of his last 10 opponents to stretch his unbeaten record to an imposing 22-0 (17). At 25, Frenkel is young and hungry. It could be a case of who lands first in this one.
