JCC vs. MAB, JMM, and Morales

So in what round would the apparently supremely skilled trio make Chavez do the Zab Judah dance, since they're all so much better than he was?

No way in Hell the smaller Morales beats out Chavez. The way he wants it & comes to get it, you can toss that one right out the door. Barrera, too, is just a little too keen, ultimately, & Chavez gets the best of him in a war.

Best shot is for Marquez --- he's smarter than those two, & has a more disciplined style roughly in the vein of what's required to trouble Chavez. That fight could get mighty close.

Honestly, I make Chavez a slim favourite against Marquez, a good fave against Barrera, & a definite over Morales.

It's hard to pit Morales and Barrera against JCC prime for prime b/c JCC has the clear natural size advantage, as his peak was at 135-140 and for those two it was 122-126.

Marquez I have an easier time pitting against Chavez b/c he started at feather and showed he carried his power up to lightweight. Let's say Juan Manuel moves up to 135 a few years earlier and I'd place money on that JMM to beat Chavez at 135 by a close and competitive decision in an all-time classic.

JCC wins it against any of them.. JCC is naturally bigger than MAB & Erik, while Marquez is just slightly smaller. The size difference would be a huge factor for Erik & Marco, considering it'll be a slugfest. Although one might argue that skills will play out, but JCC is'nt less skilled than any of them. JCC 3-5 points UD win over Erik and Marco, and 2-3 points UD win over Marquez.

Based on their history, track record, longevity and consistancy - Chavez beats them all.

I like all of them over him at 130, move up the scale from there and it's Chavez.

Since this is 3 against 1 (a handicap match) I have to Pick MAB, JMM, and Morales by KO in the third round. I pick the third round because he has a better chin than Judah. However, he does the chicken dance just the same. :OhYes:
