Re: Martin Rogan is on the comeback trail
Rogan doesn't deserve to fight Sexton if he wins. Sexton has stopped him twice in less then 2 years. Regardless of opinion on the outcomes the facts are just that, stopped him, out boxed him, in Rogans own wolf pack of a back yard, and then a rematch that was more then convincing by Sexton to seal it..
I agree Chisora v Rogan as Chisora needs some real tests now and has not really fought anyone in the last couple years that was really any danger to someone of his level.
Rogan should really be looking at beating Fury and another decent domestic fighter before he gets a sniff at the British / Commonwealth again.

That would be 100% on the money if you choose to ignore the facts that in the first fight Rogan was robbed whilst digging Sexton a new hole and in the second Rogan was injured going into the fight.terrez wrote:Rogan doesn't deserve to fight Sexton if he wins. Thats not to say that the outcome would be any different - however as Sexton couldnt sell a bowl of cherries I would have thought that you would jump at such a perceived easy pay day.

Re: Martin Rogan is on the comeback trail
Yes I agree and one thing was clear - Sexton was clearly the better boxer even with the odds against him he took a rematch so respect for that, injury or not Sexton had the better of Rogan, in both fights on the cards come the stoppage.funso banjo baby wrote:i love Rogan

Re: Martin Rogan is on the comeback trail
rogan should have destroyed sexton in the first fight, just as thaxton should have destroyed mezaache (for different reasons). just look at how their careers declined after those fights - after they were looking in complete control, perhaps better than ever.

But they never, mate.Going back a bit,Henry Wharton was on the back foot against Vincenzo Nardiello, but the second the bell rang for the fourth,Henry stuck it on him.A fights a fight 12x3 with no breaksAutobarn wrote:rogan should have destroyed sexton in the first fight, just as thaxton should have destroyed mezaache (for different reasons). just look at how their careers declined after those fights - after they were looking in complete control, perhaps better than ever.
