2010 Ringside World Championships: Who's Going?
Just wondering who plans on going? How many boxers are you bringing? I think we are going with 3 boxers. PM me your contact info and maybe we can meet out there. I finally met Mel at the JOs and I would like meet some of you other regulars too. I'll be doing recording again like the JOs so hopefully I'll have some time.

I had a bunch of guys that want to go but some of them think that they can be part time boxers, so I am only taking five with me this time.
Donte Strayhorn 141 Open
Mikail Jones 132 15-16 Open Fresh off his national JO Championship
Malik Jones 100 11-12 Open Runner-up at National Silver Gloves
Julian Wiley 132 13-14 Novice
Chris Crockett 201 Mens novice
I will definitely keep an eye out for you DC.

Yup. Didn't you have two at the Silvers last year? A JO around 85 or 90lbs. and Malik? I think we spoke when our boxers were jumpin rope in the hotel pool. Was that you? I had a video camera of course.coachgiovanni wrote:I had a bunch of guys that want to go but some of them think that they can be part time boxers, so I am only taking five with me this time.

That was probably Maliks dad that you met. I wasn't able to get off work for the nationals so I had to let the dad take them. Work can be such a pain in the a!! some times. I know that at some point we have crossed paths but I will make sure to introduce myself at Ringside.Yup. Didn't you have two at the Silvers last year? A JO around 85 or 90lbs. and Malik? how funny well they had the platinum gloves tourney but i didnt go to it. since we spoke early this year i became an official but im not ready to be a ref yet. lol! sometimes i wonder why did i do that.(become an official)to much politics and if an official dont like you and they have their own group they will make your son lose even tho clearly he won the bout. so since markie got hurt i took a break from all the shows but this is only happening in tampa fl lol jk.DCAmateurBoxing wrote:Ok, cool. Our three JOs (13/14) . . .not sure what weights yet. I think this will be 7 or so years going out. Probably won't register until we get there.ohioboxer wrote:Who are you taking to ringside DC?

I heard Zimmi got smashed in Denver. Better leave him home until the Silvers. If you want I'll ask Damien Vasquez what weight he is going at so you can choose Zimmi's correct weight!!!

He's not going. He's still recovering after Denver. He's up to 110lbs. now, looking at football this year.boxinghead wrote:I heard Zimmi got smashed in Denver.
