Congratulations Willie Pep and Deno.

Would like a shout out for Griffo also, as he earlier beat Pep.

Congratulations to Pep finally achieving something.

He could very well be this season's Archie Moore.

This was a sweet tournament though.

Well it was a "Pep" vs the Liliputians sort of tournament....now wasn't it?

However he is now the lineal champ and must be respected. Though Benny Bass knocked the stuffin' out of him and Pep has avoided many of his peers.

Cheers lads. Well done to Detroit for running a top quality tournament and fair play to all who participated.

Pep is honoured to be the inaugural Million Dollar Champ and shall carry the crown with pride. He has already blown most of it on coke and hookers but what he does in his private life is none of my concern, once he performs in the ring.

RE: Uncalled for comments regarding William Pep

Dear Buzz,

Pep has not avoided anyone this season and has not shirked any challenges so I call on you to retract your comment. Pep's full record can be found in the appropriate thread.

Kind regards,

We have reviewed the record and although we find Pep's record to be wanting, the facts of the case do support that perhaps we spoke to harshly. This is as close to a retraction as you will recieve on the subject and we do honor the fact that Pep is the true lineal champ and we assume he will impose his Will on the recently decapitated "Champion" the #2 rated Arguell.

However because of the slight embarrasment of having had this pointed out to us in a public forum, We will now instruct the former WBO champion and current IBF champion to execute a level 3 brutal beatdown on Willie Pep in the upcoming Unification bout. After he takes care of the current #1 rated fighter on the Sim, Namely, Mr Marquez.
