Very solid quote, GI. However, since Mayweather Management stands as one thing, shouldn't it be "Mayweather Management is" not "Mayweather Management are"? (I could be wrong, but; I told you I'd be keepin' an eye on ya).

In point of fact, yes, you are wrong --- at least, in trying to peg it down to one. The term is interchangeable --- ex. "Australia is," "Australia are," for instance. In this case, "Management" implies a number of people, making, 'are,' acceptable. Additionally, since they could all come under one heading as a single body, 'is,' would also be permissable.

lol you mean the one about me and my brother and 3 cousins fighting to be the ones who got the weetabix legends of british sport Alan Minter collectors card first out of the box! heheh i was 5 and it was sometime in 1981! would be retarded if I had been 10 and doing that! I grew up in a house where boxing was king. It was my dads favourite sport. At 12-13 i knew every world champion at every weight by heart! Growing up we only had 3-4 tv channels so any chance we got to watch boxing we did! even my 6 year old sister knew who Joe Frazier was as every time we had a playfight i pretended to be Joe as the BBC were constantly replaying his fight with Ali on Tv!

..i've been around forever and i've been listening to boxing on the radio, readng about it in magazines...i have about one hundred books about boxing and have seen a lot of fights on tv and live boxing....so it's no surprise that i have some knowledge of the sport.....but i'm posting this to say i am hugely impressed by all of those young guys here who know so much about the sport and about its history, which shows they have spent considerable time in reading about it and whatever other sources from which they get their information and form their opinions.
