She's due in two weeks mate but I'm hardly getting any sleep anyway, I don't think she's going to go full term. Little beggar is kicking and spinning about all night. If she doesn't sleep, I don't sleep......

PS Any names you guys want to suggest - within reason - would be much appreciated!

Good luck mate. I remember all of the above.

Boys name needs to fulfil the following criteria.

Could he be a lawyer with it, a footballer or a boxer.

And most important, if you have a daughter and she was bringing home a new boyfriend and you ask what his name, (insert you name ideas here) and see how your face goes.
e.g. What's his name? "Oscar" "Oscar! Fkk me, is he a puff".

Trust me Capt. It works.

Ciaran, Sean, Eamonn, Aidan, Cian, Finian, Dermot, Seamus, Declan, Conor, Niall, Liam or why cut the middle man and just have Patrick. Any will do really.

Why do you have a list of Irish names for Cap and a list of English ones for yourself?

I suggest my two favourite Thai names. For a boy: Turdsak. For a girl: Tittiporn.

I'd be lost trying to think of lads names, I've got three daughters and naming them was easy we had loads of names that we liked but if we'd had a boy I can't think of any names that I like, the missus had a few like Rafael, Julio, Cesar, Jesus(the Spanish version not the fairytale version) Hugo and plenty of others but he'd get beaten up with names like that here probably.

They definitely are anti-brit and now have their boxingshite24 site for really ripping into Haye, Hatton, Froch and co. The focus of their operation is to simply squeeze as much revenue out of the traffic as they can with adverts and page impressions. They care nothing for the quality of trolls nor the content, so long as they can cause a nice argument to keep the trolls well fed. How boxingshite24's articles (and i use that term loosely) are fed into google news and newsnow i will never know. I've read better forum posts than some of their stuff.

I prefer interesting interviews and sound-bites of news. I only read opinions when Hauser has wrote it as he does tend to research his topic well and focuses on establishments like promoters and television channels.

I prefer here and the smaller, less chaotic forums personally. Where this is actually a little conversation going on amongst familiar names.

'Scene forum is the best of the big ones, for fun especially. There are some real whacko's posting on there. But you can make a post and then return two hours later and basically there has been 25 other posts and the topic has slipped to page 3 ! but fair play they are quick to find the latest news on their main page.

The esb site is mostly self indulgent and copy and past jobs from the press releases, that boxing news 24 is a load of pish and the articles are just biased beyond beleif .The forums do have an anti haye/froch/hatton etc ,but most of this does come from the yanks ,for it being a german owned forum i dont think there is many germans that use

as for livefight not a bad forum ,shame about the owner :OhYes:

I seem to have picked up this thread somewhat late but need to pay my respects. I loved BM's Forum and had some good debates on there with some great characters who have rightly been given their dues on here. For a long time it was the only place I could go for any reasoned boxing debate, with the odd bit of mentalism thrown in for good measure. It's also the first place that I made 'internet friends' who I now consider to be proper friends (sorry if that sounds a bit wussy). It also lead to my first opportunity to visit a boxing gym and to interview Billy Graham and Ricky Hatton, thanks to Terry D. Great days, sadly missed.

I remember that about the braids :OhYes:

Lee was another good poster (and I wouldn't say otherwise, I reckon he was a bit handy :box:). He was alright for a geordie.

It was always good to rip the piss out of Moochie and I don't know where I'll go now for updates on Ray Austin. I'll also miss Warrior's updates on his Olympic preparations but hopefully he'll have his own website soon... He interviewed Sugar Ray Leonard you know.

Funnily enough I was just tidying up my web browser shortcuts this very morn and clicked on the Boxing Monthly guestbook link to see what was going on and found the 'closed for business' sign hanging on the door.

Amazing really - I first started posting on there approximately 97/98? Wow - 12 years of wasting my day on web forums!!

There were some great characters, several I became personal friends with but the unmoderated aspect of it always let it down and as time went by and the internet became more prevalent it followed that more wackos would join up. Just look at the mongs on Facebook, even plankton can access the internet in this day and age! :OhYes:

My interest in boxing has waned hugely in recent years - shame really. Have been thinking of posting the reasons why on here, probably will get round to it at some point but I blame Sky basically!
