Does anyone else get the feeling this fight should've been stopped well before the DQ? Either the ref stopping it while Bowe looked out on his feet on multiple occasions or by his corner, either way a stoppage seems entirely merited. This fight is so rough to watch (it's on ESPN Classic at the time of posting) because of the relentless beating Bowe is taking and because Golota throws away this win.

I think it's actually very watchable. Even though Golota mostly dominated, Bowe damaged him fairly significantly (which he could not do in the first fight, though he caught a greater beating from Golota here than first-go around in return), but what a fight this was! Lampley was ringside comparing it to a Rocky movie. It was incredible viewing from an action-standpoint. Bowe was down twice, rocked I don't know how many times, close to being out on his feet at least once, & Golota was cut severely in two places, suffering his first career knockdown, as well.

In the end, Bowe's toughness simply out-distanced Golota's composure --- but not by much.

He should have been lynched for his performance in the Lewis-Tyson bout. Incompetence is one thing, but out-right corruption --- & yes, I'll call it, the guy's a fucken cheat --- is revolting.
