record query

The record of Tom Bennett, who was also called Tommy Bennett, of up-
state New York is incomplete. He fought in the 1980s, several times in and
near Rochester, New York. Does anyone know his complete record or
where I could find it?

I entered what I have on him.
There might be some more bouts in the late 80's.

Added one more loss for '89. Pretty sure that he was inactive from 85-88.

Tomft do you have any idea how close we might be on this record?

One fight I saw, that was not on Tom Bennett's Boxing Archive record,
happened on August 17, 1983 in the Dome Arena in Henrietta, New York.
The town is near Rochester. It was a scheduled six-round bout between
Bennett and John Tyrrell, or Tyrell. Bennett was TKOd in the fourth round
when he was backed up against the ropes. Several years later,in the War
Memorial in Rochester, I again saw Bennett lose a fight. That time his op-
ponent was given a decision. Also in the eighties, before the fight with
Tyrrell, I read in the papers that he won a fight in the War Memorial. How
he got the victory, I can't recall but it may have been either by a KO or a
TKO.

His birthdate is, I think either 1954 or 1955. The hometown might have
been either Fairport or Lockport, N.Y., neither of them being too far from
Rochester.
