Cream was something else in its heyday, in fairness.

Just aviod wearing a Man U top and you should be alright.

If you do you'll be able to judge what part of town your in by the response you get.

In the south end expect to be heckled. In the city centre expect to be spat on. Venture into the north of the city and expect to be dodging bullets.

Joking aside it's a pretty decent place to live.

I went to the opening night of Cream. Paul Bleasdale was a great DJ there, not sure if he even plays anymore. Obviously this was early 1990's. I also went to the opening night of Renaissance in Mansfield and the opening of Miss Moneypennies in Brum.

Cream was all about chemicals, Moneypennies was about fashionable poontang..but Renaissance was just a class apart.

Then I got old.

I'm a United fan but wouldn't wear the shirt if you paid me. No way am I lining the Glazer's pockets. But that's another story.

Wouldn't mind catching some Everton games whilst I'm there. Been to Goodison as an away fan and I like the atmosphere. Plus I like a lot of their players and the way they play. No way am I going near Anfield though :shame:

To be honest though, I've got my views on football but I'll be putting them all aside once I get there. I just want to have a good laugh and a good time, and won't be getting into daft arguments about football, it's not worth it.

I'm moving to Liverpool in September for Uni. I'm from Manchester so I'm assuming it will be a fun relocation, especially when I have to talk out loud in front of a load of Scouse lads in a Wetherspoons or something

Anyway, I know there are a few Scousers on here so I'd like to know about the city, where to eat, drink, what sights to see, where to avoid etc?

Cheers :TU:
Uni? Yeah right, we all know who you are, Mr Cole.

Just woke up after my first night in Liverpool. Ended up in a club called Bamboo drinking £1 vodka red bulls. Suffering now! Fit birds behind the bar and a quality night! I'm steadily going to work my way through all the pubs mentioned on here. Cheers!

I remember going to a club called Quadrant park about 20 years ago. Mental place.

The place closed and I was still tripping my balls off trying to find my way back to the hotel. It must have been around bonfire night, as the most vivid memory I have is of some young kid saying "Penny for the guy else I`ll cut ya"

Good old days.

Kenny is a dump though. I only go up North to Crosby Beach or into Lancashire near Pendle Hill! :DD

Most students seem to like living in Wavertree where I live. Loads of bars accomidating for them on Smithdown Road so they can trash up the place more and then leave in 6 months to another home!
