Danny Green @ $30 a round!

Post by thanksbuddy »

His last 4 fights have totalled 5 rounds. At $50 a show thats $30 a round! Yes, RRJ shouldnt have been stopped, but hey,i'm over paying top dollar for this guy (Green Promotions generally have a decent undercard but still doesnt make up it).

In comparison to Mundine (must compare these two as they are our two main drawcards), at least paying for Mundine we get value for money as Mundine is still throwing hard, stiff jabs right up to the final bell of the 12th round.

Really going to rethink about the next donation to Greenie!

That is only because Mundine has lost too much weight to punch hard anymore.

Back in the 1970s Stadiums Ltd told Rocky Mattioli his fights were ending too soon. Rocky went back to Italy where he went on to be World Light Middleweight champion. If your opponent is not good enough it is kinder to KO him early than to prop him up and do more damage.

Well finally we have someone on here who supports Mundine again, we need a laugh from time to time.
You failed to mention that Mundine go's 12 rounds with Welterweights ranked outside the top 100 ranked fighters and dishes up the most attrocish undercards that have been seen in this country.

Green is a top bloke who has let the fame of RJJ go to his head, he has a decent head on his shoulders and i'm positive we aren't going to see any more of this shitt.

Comn Green everyone is talking about that fight....everyone and half didn't pay.

How many fights did Mike tyson finish in one or two rounds?

Didn't stop people paying a lot more than $30 a round to go to his fights.

I was actually speaking to an American mate of mine who said that after a few fights the PPV network actually guaranteed 6 rounds or they would get half their money back. At the time a Tyson PPV was only $20 so they ended up only paying $10 for some of his PPV's...
