Aaron Pryor vs Lou Ambers

Never thought about this before, it would be spectacular. No doubt it could go either way. All I ask is that nobody mention Aaron winning because he was bigger. He was a Jr Welter because that's where he got a title shot.

Pryor is the better puncher, but Ambers is faster, a better boxer and every bit as durable. I think Ambers wins a close but clear UD.

This is not a good match up for Pryor. An interesting fight, but I give the nod to Ambers, who uses his skills and movement to out hustle Pryor. Ambers on points.

I cannot see Pryor winning this one. He'd make it a very entertaining fight but Ambers fought highly competitive fights with Armstrong. I don't see Pryor being anything other than a lesser version.

For whatever reason, a lot of people seem to down on Pryor in the last few years. He was one helluva fighter.
Still, I have to go with Ambers on poitns. Would be a very tough fight. Would have been pretty exciting.
