Sky Sports coming to freeview?

Post by Old bones Ian »

But it won't be free £23 for Sky sports 1 and £33 for both Sky sports 1 and 2.

think it looks only likely on top-up tv, so that would mean having to have a card freeview box.

It might open the way for Sky sports to come to all of freeview and freesat

Go through BT Vision - slightly cheaper.

I pay £17.50 per month for the BT Vision side of things - got ESPN thrown in for the year and will pay an extra £13 pm for Sky Sports 1 & 2. - I suppose still slightly expensive but okish.

Cheers, i have looked at the one Spud, but reading between the lines on the Top Up tv one , it looks like a monthly thing with no year long contract, so i may have a look at that, as i can cancel it when i want.

I've got a feeling BT customers are going to get stitched up over the price, Sky are fuming about their hand being forced on the Sports.

Its been done to bollocks up Virgin and BT Vision. Sky got took to court and got told they have to make it available to the other subscrition media providers. Their solution to bollocks up BT and Virgin is to tell Freeview they can now take it aswell and their minimum contract is only one month compared to BT and Virgins 12 months.

Just gotta love the 'dirty tricks' department at Sky, they are fecking geniuses!
