Time to move on.

Post by Sweet P »

Im not saying what happened shouldnt be discussed , But there were 3 good young fighters that were impressive on Wednesday night and there not even getting a look in.
Brad Pitt looked really impressive in his win, Matt Garlett threw one of the best punches ive seen in a while knocking down Norton. And Mostyn Neimann looked good in his fight.
Then Thursday night Bogavic Vs Trainor was a great fight, between 2 good prospects.
There are many great young fighters coming up at the moment, It seems to me far to many people are getting caught up in the Green-Briggs fight and are forgetting about all the great young fighters that are coming through the ranks.
The fight had an ordinary ending but the sport will move on a harping over it and blaming people isnt going to do the sport any good.

Fair call Ben but we really need to know why what happend happend and those repsonsible should have no further part in the sport.
As far as moving on goes, yep those fighters you mentioned performed very well. I will move on for good when Danny announces a BJ Flores, Cunningham etc as his next opponent and does it very soon. There is no reason Danny needs to wait for a bout until November, I would like to see one late Sept or at the latest early October.

The punch of Garletts sounded like a gun shot when it landed. Norton is one tough fella to get to his feet after that.

I agree Ben, Matt caught him with a sweet right hand, then jumped him while he was vulnerable and finished him with a flurry of punches, it was shaping up for a great fight b4 that fast and skillfull, Pitt looks great has a good kit of punches and has a good physique, but drops and keeps his hands a little low for my liking.. And personally think Cameron is no match for Green....
