Marco Antonio Barrera vs. Erik Morales I

I had it 115-112 Barrera. Can't necessarily complain too much about the scores though given how tight so many of those rounds were. Incidentally I scored all 3 fights for Barrera.

114-113 Morales, I'm one of the few that had no problem with the decision. Lampley's cheerleading was far more obnoxious than the cards. So many close and brutal rounds it's almost a coin flip. I have way more issue with stuff like Hopkins/Taylor 2 & Whitaker/DLH when you can count the significant shots as they happen.

I also would give Erik my daughter, so I can't claim not to have an inkling to send close rounds his way. All time epic fight.

I thought Barrera was the clear winner of the first, Morales the clear winner of the 2nd, and the rubber match I scored a draw (watch it without the incessant HBO cheerleading for MAB)

I was at this fight,it was the 1st ever bout I attended,a gift from the boxing gods.
Morales won a classic even though I see where the Barrera nods come from.

that phrase should be brought out on any MAB-Morales 1 thread. Lampley made me want to puke that night.
