sexton v chisora betting

Post by dazzer »

sexton is a great price i think to stop del boy 11/2. Sexton has come on a long way from when he lost to del boy, with 2 great wins over rogan.

Finchley's Derek Chisora must have learned something the night he tackled Tony Booth in Cardiff's Millennium Stadium in April 2007. Booth, the canny veteran from Hull, played to the giant crowd throughout their four-rounder and, although he lost on points, he stole the entire show on a night when Joe Calzaghe's contest with Pete Mandredo ended in a nothing three-round stoppage.
Chisora soon introduced his own sense of showmanship to the sport and earned a lot of press, some of it good, some bad, but Max Clifford will tell you it is all good. Perversely, the unbeaten Chisora barely picked up any headlines when he stopped the faded Danny Williams in two rounds to wrest the British heavyweight title in May, because of an eye-catching main event at Upton Park, but his two-title rematch with Sam Sexton on September 18 in Birmingham is causing more of a stir.
Chisora caught up with the slick-boxing Sexton in six rounds at York Hall in the summer of 2008, snapping the Norwich man's unbeaten record after seven wins, in a fight that raised no eyebrows at the time. However, Sexton came back to win Prizefighter and then the Commonwealth heavyweight title from Belfast's previously unbeaten Martin Rogan in Belfast last year, and all of a sudden Chisora's victory meant something. He overwhelmed Sexton with just 26 seconds remaining of their six-rounder, although it was close up to the finish and Sexton was never off his feet.
Big Sam has undoubtedly improved since, but then, you you have to say the same for big Derek, which makes this a fascinating encounter of talented 26-year-olds - Chisora the better puncher, Sexton the better boxer. Who has improved more? Sexton showed real mettle to enter the Lion's Den against the rugged, brawling Rogan and to stop him – not once, but twice – while Chisora stopped Sheffield's decent Carl Baker and the veteran Williams back-to-back. When you put them side by side like this, Sexton's wins carry the greater weight, and yet I am writing like they have never fought.
Chisora, regardless of the intricacies since, is my tip to do again what he has done before.

Rogan didn't train for the first fight and was injured for the second + he split with Breen. Both wins flatter him imo.
