Bobby Chacon vs. Martin "Chiva" Guevara

The Cyber Boxing Zone lists this as Bobby's second to last fight. I would dismiss it (they also have a fight listed that was probably really a JOSE Chacon fight) but they have the fight recorded as taking place in Tucson, Arizona and Bobby WAS living in Arizona at the time. Does anyone know if this fight is legit?

If U want a reference, it's in the Nov 87 Ring page 40.
There's a report of the fight with a photo.
He was knocked down 3 times & rallied to stop his opponent.

What was the fight listed that was probably really a JOSE Chacon fight ?

Ah, okay. The announcers during the Jones fight said that he'd been knocked down 3 times in his previous fight, and it drove me crazy. Thanks. Please add it to his record when you get the chance.

The Bernardino Moreno fight. Boxrec has Jose Chacon listed as fighting Moreno, not Bobby. And because the fight was in Panama City, I highly doubt that it was Bobby.

Eric Armit mentions your correction in BoxingNews Vol.40#25 on page 17
Bobby Chacon was never in Panama.

BTW, Jose Chacon is from Panama, NOT Venezuela as listed in BoxRec.
I will soon add some more fights to his record.

Chacon's record still hasn't been updated. I wouldn't care so much, but I check that record all the time, and it kind of bothers me that it isn't complete.

The Guevara fight was still missing when gensu3ki posted. Chacon is complete now.
