to bring this news to you sophisticated people, but just read on boxing central about Calloway and Mirovic fighting for the WBF title.

The thing that made me piss myself was the blatent and panicking attempts to build up the fighters. I'm assuming the article was just handed to boxing central by the WBF. http://www.boxing-central.com/modules.p ... e&sid=6155

My favourite quotes: "He has defended the WBF intercontinental title 4 times" Wooo!

"He holds victories over Darrell Spinks (the son of former heavyweight champ Leon Spinks)" Almost as prestigious as fighting Lalia Ali I guess?

"and opposition such as Julius Long, Andy Sample and Otis Tisdale" 8) (The shades are to protect my eyes from the dazzling array of talent in those names.)

What a complete joke. You've got to laugh though. Or cry.

Actually as a fight, it isn't that bad - nice the we are finding out the successor to Harrison.

Yes, callibur and title aside it looks quite an interesting match-up. It would be nice to think Audley is now above this (even though he's walked through the wardrobe and into Narnia at the moment.) Surely Audley won't be coming back to this and be challenging Mirovic or something to retain his crown. With all due respect to these two, and for all Audrey's short comings, Harrison is a class above this sort of thing.

(He should really be challenging Sidon for the WAA by now

If Mivorvic wins then I can see it happening. Mivrovic did run the mandatory challenger for the European title very close - it wouldn't be an awful fight for Harrison.

If Calloway wins then, nope - Harrison has been there, doesn't need to go there again.
