Quite clear footage of Panama Al Brown doing easy sparring in the second half of the clip. Its a bit sped up though.simon fox wrote:Panama Al Brown was skinny and could (apparently) box like hell;.

The atomic spider - Tshifhiwa Munyai. 5'9" of bantamweight, how he makes 118 is beyond me.
Chong Pal-Park a beanpole? He was a big old lump for a Korean but he was far from a beanpole, he was pretty chunky, certainly up top.

Munyai is a lovely fighter at 118 but he hasnt got it in him to be effective higher uporbtastic wrote:The atomic spider - Tshifhiwa Munyai. 5'9" of bantamweight, how he makes 118 is beyond me.

Milton McCrory was a Welterweight and over 6' Tall.
A world Class fighter but not a great one, was lucky to get a decision over Colin Jones.

My Dad use to mention the famous Welsh flyweight,
Jimmy Wilde a lot when we watched boxing shows.
His nickname was ,"The Ghost With A Hammer In His Hand".
I think my Dad must have met him when he was younger.
