Some news from Mr Persson in Sweden. Apologies if it's old but if it is, I've missed it...

Vitaly Tsypko and Brian Magee will square off either May 27 in Kiev or June 11 in Germany with the vacant EBU 168 lb title at stake. There was to have been purse bids tomorrow in Rome (April 18) but the parties came to an agreement tonight. The June 11 show, put on by Sauerland Event, will also feature WBC Int´l champ Sinan Samil Sam. Site is to be determined. The May 27 event is depending on Ukrainian TV.

German supermiddle Danilo Haussler is sidelined with illness and his bout for the vacant WBA I/C title against Italian Cristian Sanavia set for April 23 in Dortmund is off. Haussler is expected to be back May 14 in Bayreuth on the undercard to Nikolai Valuev´s defence of the WBA I/C crown. Sauerland Event have also postponed WBC Int´l 175 lb ruler Pietro Aurino´s planned May 14 defence until June 11 on the bill headlined by WBC Int´l heavy titlist Sinan Samil Sam.
