Don't remember the exact quote but I do remember when the hype about a Jones fight was in full swing (along with a Hopkins one). It started around early 2001 and ran for a couple years. Makes me cringe how much of that tripe I actually bought into, in retrospect it was just the same as what comes out his mouth today: hot air.

I do remember the quote not word for word but it was relating to him moving up to Light Heavyweight, now that Roy has moved up to heavyweight.

You mean the one in BN? Something like "I don't think anyone can beat him, he's amazing"?

I remember he had an interview somewhere that said, Jones was the only fighter he didnt fancy his chances against. It could have been on the BBC or maybe even fightnews.

On a similar note. Does anyone have the quote where ricky hatton said he turned a fight with mayweather for the biggest purse of his career to pursue other fights? It was just before Mayweather decided to fight corely in his 140 debut?

And on that note, if hatton and mayweather both win, Id love for them to get it on. Mayweather all the way.
