Lads Universium is pretty much finished as a promotional group because ZDF refused to renew their contract with them. If this fight was to happen it would most likely take place in the UK.

too many to mention.

thing is people say smith should fight stielgz or sartisan as if they are the only one's he can beat.smith has done perfect in his career so far & is really building momentum with becoming & retaining the british.im a firm believer of raising your game against quality & dropping it against lesser.
brian magee was the ideal candidate to test's smith's calibre. maybe a fight v an andrade or mirhanda, fringe contender's could tell us more & if he was to do a job on them he's 50/50 with the lot of them.

im not criticising smith, he's beat who ever has been put infront of him.

I agree with what you say.

I wouldn't call Stieglitz a bum myself though, very good operator, and underrated more than anything.
I would love to have seen the fight v Magee, but as long as there are no hiccups against Mcdermott, i see no reason why Paul can't face off against someone like Gutknecht, and then move to andrade, or miranda, or indeed get a shot against Stieglitz.
He will continue to improve as he moves up no doubt

Andrade wouldnt be someone id choose to put my fighter in against unless you had to!Lol.He might lack in skill but he's like a machine that keeps ploughing forward no matter how much you hit him with!Obviously the exception being Bute in the second fight but I remember watching him against Kessler who can punch and it was frightening the amount of punishment he could absorb and keep coming forward! It was non-human like!

So I think go for sartison first!

It's a level anyone with world title aspirations has to step up to at some point though. No doubt andrade is a tough bugger, but most of them are aat fringe world/world level
