BOXERS - Video set

Post by demolitiondaley »

Hi guys, I recentley was given the BOXERS video set with just a couple missing numbers 14 and one other which I can't remember. They are with all the magazines, does anyone know what number they went up to? The set I have goes up to 72 or there abouts. It now has pride of place in the living room next to my DVD's on a book shelf with all my boxing books :OhYes:

There are 75 of the video's, 72 plus 3 "specials", Solid Gold "Former Olympic Champions", Fabulous Four and The Ultimate Prize.
Any missing ones you can normally pick up on Ebay fairly cheap. I have number 33 which you can have if you are missing that one.
There was meant to be 50 of the DVD's, they were more or less the same fights as the videos, iirc they stopped after about 8 though.

A quick check of Ebay reveals that they must of carried on with the DVD's because people are selling them. The fights appear to be the same as what was on the videos though.

The DVDs were the same format but didn't follow the VHS numbering at all. After about 9 DVDs they just went their own way and it was pretty random.

The DVDs stopped at about 50.

You can compare them here:

Although £4.99 is a bit steep imo.

Save your money and download them on DVD. Why would you want to have them on VHS in this day and age?
