I had it 115-115... Very close fight. Great entertainment.

The slip by Kessler... Amazing how from one angle it looks like a sure fire KD then from the other it's a definite slip/trip.

Shows how judges do have a hard time calling fights. So much of how you score a fight depends upon where you're sitting.

yeah i agree when i first saw it i instantly thought knockdown....but when i watched the replay i wondered how i missed the fact that kessler slipped and froch didnt land a punch just hit kesslers arms...

Kotelnik-Alexander is the last fight I watched as well.

I thought Kotelnik won. He landed more punches and he was consistently landing the harder, cleaner shots. His defense was excellent and I felt he was controlled most of action, especially over the second half, when he really started to give Alexander hell. I don't think Alexander should be given rounds for simply throwing more punches when the vast majority of them were blocked, and thus not scoring shots.

Last night on Youtube I watched Alfredo Angulo blast out Joachim Alcine in 1 round, and I have finished watching Danny Williams' first fight with John McDermott for the British Heavyweight title and that was an utter robbery in my opinion.

Whitaker vs Ramirez I. It's the worst robberyive ever seen I had it 117-111 and there were some rounds I could of given to Sweet Pea. He is one he'll of a fighter he's one of my top 5 favourite fighters of all time. Watching the rematch today sometime

The last fight I watched as Wladimir K versus Samuel Peter back in 2005, when Wladimir K got knocked down three times and still won it by a mile on the cards, Despite the three knockdowns I had it 115-110 as I felt Wladimir K was moving quite well and using his jab and putting good combinations and I felt Peter did not follow up the knockdowns in trying to finish Wladimir K

I have been watching a couple more Arturo Gatti fights again last night on Youtube. I saw the sherlallacking he got off Floyd Mayweather which cost his WBC Light-Welterweight belt, I was scoring the fight and I could not give Gatti a round at all as Mayweather was just killing him with his footwork and handspeed, and after that saw his defeat of Gabriel Rulas when he was down at Super Featherweight in 1997, it was a good entertaining fight and then Gatti nailed Rulas with a pretty sweet left hook.

Donnie Nietes vs some dude in Mexico. I dont get this guy. This is his third defense of his title IN Mexico. Donnie comes from the Filipino billionaire backed ALA stable yet he always fights abroad to defend his title while his fellow stablemates Boom2 Bautista, AJ Banal and the likes always fight in posh hotels in the Philippines and have nationwide broadcast.

I watched it and Whitaker was brilliant picked his punches so well, didn't give JLR achance.one of his best of many great performances though I still think Haugen rakes some bbeating for his best performance that wads nasterclass

you mean the Brian Mitchell rant? yeah, was rewatching the first Lopez fight. Mitchell strikes me a bit like a Giardello or one of those oldtimers who doesn't look that skillful unless you really watch what he's going, very under-rated in the skills department and an unreal engine.

They once called Michael Jordan "Air" out of respect because he scored from exactly that position.
If you called Devon Alexander "Air" it would certainly be interpreted in a completely different way after watching this bout.
Devon threw so many punches that either hit thin air,gloves,elbows or arms that it became ridiculous at one point.
Yet he [Alexander] was busy throughout the entire fight and shouldn't be criticized for lack of effort,the kid gave it a go.
Kotelnik is very slow of foot and didn't do himself any favors with that lack of particular skill,Andriy may have won this fight had he also learned to cut the ring off or go to Devon's body earlier and much more frequently.
This was a nightmare of a fight to score for anyone,you could say it came down to a decision between quality and quantity if you like,either way it was always going to be a tough call on the cards.
If pushed I would say Alexander may have edged it,but not with any real confidence,there were at least 3-4 rounds that could have gone to either of the boxers.

I had it a tie fight.

For me I have been really busy with my fight film viewing. I have been watching

Wladimir K v Lamon Brewster I: I had Wladimir K ahead by about 2 or 3 rounds before Brewster nailed him.
Vitali K v Chris Byrd: I had Vitali on a shut out until his shoulder went.
Mike Tyson v Bruce Seldon: Had Tyson on a 10-8 round until he dropped Seldon for the 2nd and final time.
Mike Tyson v Norris. Utter farce that was
Mike Tyson v Lou Savarese that was a wild one.

Currently on Sugar Shane Mosley v Antonio Margarito.
