boxing news

i have seen in the paper in the last couple of weeks that a certain promoters brother has passed away and a former british champion has been sent to prison , im a little suprised it has not been spoke of on this site, ??? im not sure if you can or can not talk about them on here thats why im not mentioning names, can anyone tell me why they have not been spoke about ,

I saw the news about the promoters brother in the Evening Standard. RIP...

I'm sure the former champ has been mentioned in a thread here earlier in the week.

Two former champs now. Google time ...

As regards the suicide, RIP indeed, tragic. Had some helpful soul offer to sell me a story on it today. He got no reply.

If you google "promoters brothers death" you will find out straight away.

A very sad story - may he RIP.

RIP to the young man, and on behalf of all the posters on this site id like to pass on my kind regards and condolences to FW and hope to see him back soon, on top of his game and doing what he does best, and that is staging some great boxing bills and nurturing some of the fine young talent this country has.

And why can we not say who it is? I'm none the wiser and this apparently happened while i was on holidays, away from the boxing press.

well mate it don't bother me to say who it was but the last time i mentioned the promoters name when he was invovled in something i got warned to watch what i said about him on here , boxrec sai :TU: d something about "ALLEGEDLY" getting sued and im not here to upset anyone . :TU:
