Still a good win against a dangerous opponent.
Agree, and can see it being a problem in the future against the next level of heavyweights, unless fixed now.

Both fighters probably had damage to their ears after that appalling rendition of "The Star Spangled Banner."

Can nobody sing that well? :witzend:

just sitting here watching the recording of lasts nights fight, and i noticed the ring anouncer had beck ranked at NUMBER 9 by boxrec, where did he get his info? anyone....
or is it as simple as a pump up to the public to make him look more badass than he really is?? i know it doesnt matter a hell of a lot now, but curious.

Langham may have just realized his potential last night, it was very similar to the Lenny Zappa fight, except that Lenny connected properly and left Langham unconscious. Defiantly a lack of application from Langham who can fight.

The rest of the card was not Fox worthy, except for the 2 guys on debut.
I thought Olarte was in with a good shot against Hannan. Olarte is the sort of guy that will trouble most fighters in Aus except the very top guys.

Always thought Josh King would beat Langham but not quite as easily as he did. Josh and Mick Shaw will be a good scrap.

Give him his due, he is ranked no 2 in Jamaica, out of two heavyweights.

John Hopoate's 18 year old son, William, is now playing rugby league for Manly Warringah and has to watch his every move in case the journos try to make out he is like his father. Poor bugger. 8)

No worries. It is one of Hopper's better known body parts.
