The fight may not be as one sides as people think. We shall see.

Good luck to Kelly and fair play to him for taking the fight but he is gonna get battered.

Fitness, endurance and a decent amateur grounding wont be enough to beat Frankie in this fight...

Good to see he no longer has Gavin down as a pressure fighter :D

The only people who really think Michael Kelly has a decent chance in this fight are related to him ;;-)

 he is up against it alright Terry but that wont deter Kelly who will be in the best shape of his career.

Can John Breen pull another Rogie out of the hat?

Kelly has quality sparring in the form of Paul McCloskey and he has an excellent trainer in John Breen but I cant see him bringing anything to this fight that will take Gavin out of his stride in all honesty.

As long as Gavin is fit (and he will need to be to make 10st and fight over a championship distance) he will win this at a canter :TU:

i think a puncher would be meat and drink to Gavin, anyone who wants to set their feet on him are going to find themselves peppered with quick 1-2-3's and chasing shadows as he pivots off from them :TU:

Yes, anyone trying to get the time to plant their feet against Frankie will be in for a long hard night...they'll struggle landing a glove on him.

Going from what ive seen of Kelly (which isnt much to be fair)...Frankie will look brilliant in this fight :bag:

Both of Gavin's parents are Irish and he seems proud of his Irish heritage but he sees himself as English and such you'll find so will Irish posters. Same story with Jamie Moore(although I believe he has just one Irish parent), and I was glad he contested the Irish title.

Macklin on the underhand is a different story, regards himself as Irish and so do I.

I hope Kelly can make this somewhat competitive but in honesty I fear for the worse. Kelly will be in much better shape than his last fight, but Gavin is such a phenomenal talent, this may be a little one sided.

I just cannot see Kelly being able to do this to be honest.

He's been pretty inactive and admited he was way off form against Buzz Grant in Canada. Frankie Gavin looks pretty special and this could be fairly one-sided.

if Kelly can put in a creditable perfrmance then I would be happy. Kelly and McDonagh are on a similar level in my opinion, Kelly a little classier, McDonagh more experienced. The fight you pan out similar to that one.

If Gavin managed to stop Kelly it would be a very good result for him.
