Yes, this is what I - and a mate of mine - want to know...I've mailed you separately Jon and hope you can reply soon. Thanks. :TU:

...And i replied promptly for once. Asking if you preferred indirect from Leeds (4 hours travelling time) or direct from Birmingham (2 hours).

And just how expensive are beers in monaco - are there normal bars where you can get a beer for under 5 euros?
A pint is generally between €6-8 (£5-7). I was only there for a day and visited 2 bars and in one of them I payed €51.50 (£42 app.) for 3 pints and three medium sized filled baguettes. I'm sure if you 'shopped' around you could find something cheaper but if you are planning on tanking up, be prepared to leave a hole in your wallet.

Ah - this mail still hasn't arrived in my inbox at the time of writing (7.15pm). So maybe there's a problem with our accounts. Cheers, Jon.

I think you're mixing me up with Jim Neilly. He's the Irish guy who does a lot of the amateur stuff.

Yeah, yeah, a typically 'paynful' observation.

It's quite usual for ticket prices not to be released until about now. I was surprised when i was told they might be decided earlier.

No news just means that we don't know the price yet. Good news would be finding out that they won't be overpriced.

It could be because they don't need to try very hard to shift them - the venue isn't very big.

Not as frustrating as David Haye's silence on his next fight!

Serioulsy though, will ticket prices really put you off on what will be a £750 - £1,000 weekend anyway? If you are spending that much then surely a few hundred variance on a ticket won't be that significant in the grand scheme of things?

Or are you only going if the ringside (or outer ring) are in the hundreds rather than than thousands of pounds?

We are talking about France here. Everything moves at a snails pace at the best of times never mind August when half the population are on holiday. It was a similar delay with haye v mormeck I think. I'm sure it will be sorted out soon. Some official release from hennesey might be welcome just to keep people informed though
