Hey Carlos,

Fight hasnt taken place yet its 3pm NZ time as its all heavyweights tonight there weigh-in and medicals are at 5.30pm so we will be heading there shortly. Will keep you posted on the outcome.

Really this is a good step up for Clarence as Wilson is no push over and probably regarded as one of the Top 5 Heavyweights in NZ with Tua, Welliver, Cameron and possibly Tai as the other 4!

My apologies, I thought the fight was last week! It is good to hear that Clarence loves New Zealand. I got an email from him last week and is very happy down there - good luck tonight - the big fella can do it! :TU:

Yip Wilson got the nod last night, he won the first 3 rounds as the more active fighter, i think Clarence won the last 2 rounds easily landing the more telling shot including rocking Wilson in the final round with about 30sec to go and then having the ref jump in and give Wilson a breather which i found most bizzare for one, and secondly denied Clarence a chance to finish Wilson. The 4th round in my mind was a toss up so really Clarence didnt do enough to win, and Wilson grinded it out just enough to come out on top. Clarence will be the first to admitt his conditioning isnt there right now, and it could have been all the difference he started to slowerly and gave up the first 2/3 rounds so had to play catch up. He finished stronger out of the two so i was happy with that given it was his first 6 rounder. All in all well done Joey!

Rematch is October 23rd!!!

it was a good even match up and not the usual gimme- gift wrapped bout to pad your record sort of thing. re-match should be good, if both men go for the KO it would be greater.....

Has anybody taken into account that both these guys are losers,n2 shape would have plastered tillman all over the place if he had won I would class these two losers in the chauncy welliver class of shitt, take care of tillman n2shape(he cant even beat E grade fighter)look forward to him winning a world title, and chaunceys still a bitch too scared to fight moyoyo mensa as that cruserweight would be too much to handle, not to long now bitches, then I get to shut you the fcuk up.lets see where the ball bounces then ay!!

Bad day Mr. Rhino? You get slapped around in the gym by Dexter "The Dingo" Dunworth or something?

Damn, I figured Clarence would get him. Congrats to Joey but I got Clarence whooping him in October. Too bad his clean up work on the gulf spill affected his conditioning. The rematch should see a stronger Tillman in there.

N2Shape....any footage of these fights out there?

Hey kronk, firstly Clarence has been done here for a good month now so the oil spill or no oil spill thats no excuse. Joey was the slightly better man on the night as the scores indicated. In no way am i disputing the decision it was a good close fight.

Kirby, never had we mentioned Tillman or Wilson being the next heavyweight champions, simply use these forums to keep poeple up to date on there progress etc and yes there is a lil banter from time to time on here but we can be adult about it. Tillman will happily fight you, apparently he is a loser for hoping into the boxing ring............he like you will fight anyone and i respect that. So best of luck to you I hope you do well in your comeback from injusy and no that Tillman and Chuancy will fight you theres no issues there

Funso, Clarence actally finished the stronger of the two, maybe just with this being his first 6 rounder he got the pacing of the fight al wrong starting to slowerly and then not having the rounds left to pull it back like he almost did. In the end take nother away from Wilson, hes tough, akward and came into the fight with a good plan to box in move!

I havn't mentioned any tactics or made any promises,I think its clear the only way we'll see eye to eye is in the ring,If he will so clearly beat me then there will be no probs in sighning the contract.
