Why do my posts need to be discussed for deletion or my membership status discussed? As I said I operate within the rules unless there are rules proscribing dissenting from the "party line". There are posts standing where posters question the intelligence of other posters, question their sexual orientation, or call other posters pejorative terms for female body parts.
I keep it clean. I am a shining light for every soul with a dissenting opinion and you want to extinguish it.
And to those who say if it was reversed that the Ref would have let it continue.....Do you really think a ref would allow this very important guy to be teed off on by a big puncher like Lyle? I honestly think that's just a goofy notion. The ref would have likely stopped it earlier if Ali was not returning any fire at all.
Oh please, no way no how any ref. on the planet would have stopped it with Ali on the receiving end. I have no problems with the stoppage but the rules were different for Ali, always.
Just check out the Holmes fight, that'll give you an indication of when a referee would wave his hands in front of Ali - Never.
