Tiger Flowers Query

I have a day-after newspaper account saying Lee Anderson KO-7 Flowers at Juarez, Mexico on May 9, 1923. But this is only a day after Flowers' bout with Kid Norfolk in Ohio. Found this in a Wenatchee, Washington, paper. I didn't have time to double-check with another newspaper. Can anyone clarify/confirm?

Fight Fax has that bout listed as May 9, 1922.

Thanks, Robin. I'll double-check my notes when I get home. I may have written down an incorrect year, or misread my notes.
