Groves is much too easy to hit. It's an amateur flaw he hasn't ironed out yet and his aggression will only cover this up for so long

Impossible to say because we don't know what they're capable of. Groves has looked the better prospect, against better opposition, but it doesn't tell us much. It'll probably be one of those fights that never happen anyway. I hear DeGale turned down 50k to fight Groves.

DeGale's excuses starting already then?

Degale probably already earns more than 50k a fight.

He probably does, but if DeGale thinks he can easily beat Groves, which he keeps on banging on about, then why not finish the discussion. Prospects fighting each other is a win-win, IMO, just look at Sexton/Chisore - a widely anticipated match-up next month. DeGale should put up, or shut up.

I don't think it's simple as fighters wanting the fight. No chance Warren is going to put Chunky in with Groves at this stage.

People said the same about Clev and McIntosh.

These are two huge prospects though. Warren won't risk losing Degale's 0 right now.

You're right about that, it won't happen, like I said in my initial post, but if that's the case, then DeGale should stop waffling about how easy it would be to beat Groves. IMO, this fight will mimick the whole Hatton/Witter debacle - it's everything that's wrong with boxing.

I dont think Booth would put Groves in with Degale !He says all the right things,as he does with the Klitschkos, but why offer James 50k when he is getting a lot more?Publicity stunt?Again...
