Re: The Hattons next prodigy!!!
I have no doubt that Chad is a nice fella!! I have never considered myself in anyones pocket..I was interviewing Doran since before he went pro and Hatton got involved, plus many others from unfashionable gyms!
If you had just said 'Hey Martin, Chad would be a good interview, fancy doing him?' I would have done it right away! That aint being in anyones pocket mate! I like the public getting to know the prospects, no matter where they come from

a) sorry, you're right - I'd forgotten. Syrian journeymen.chris11 wrote:Edited by mod
b) the article was on whatever the f*ck I wanted it to be. I did it. Who else helped them get national coverage?
c) that's true, we can't cover every gym, the lads pick and choose whoever they want
d) what I'm saying is, if you want someone to get coverage on the site, you can always draw my attention to it, in a polite way rather than calling us a load of names. Just because you've mentioned him on here loads of times won't make it happen. Lots of boxers get promoted here.
Thanks for the response. Watch the articles on your lads fly up now.

Sorry, I've just noticed this one. This is outrageous, as well as being libellous.chris11 wrote:Edited by mod
You're an absolute f*cking disgrace.
We might not have covered who you wanted - we've not covered the fighters from loads of gyms. This is to do with time because it's done as a hobby.
And what the f*ck is this: http://news.boxrec.com/news/2010/boxrec ... rone-nurse
Scotch mist?
Re: The Hattons next prodigy!!!
Not being in certain peoples pockets actually makes life more difficult for writers of this site at times, so it's a ridiculous suggestion. There are plenty of mags/sites to whom you can throw such drivel at, but this isn't one. I'm sure Chad is a nice guy but you're not doing him any favours here mate.chris11 wrote:rocket.... on here...even handed reporting is exactly what i want too c...it doesnt exist on here...never has done .the guys on here have always been in someones pocket....ey....believe it or not chads a pleasure too..
MCNEILLY is far from useless, but good luck with your passion for bridge burning. Out of interest, how often do you read extensive pieces on journeymen in printed publications? Oh and for the record, BA didn't love fools, he pitied themchris11 wrote:Edited by mod

Bloody hell, that would be weird. It would be a real dilemma; on one hand letting your turd reward you for pushing it out into the world would only be polite but on the other hand, it might take a bit of explaining to the next person who paid you some "attention" when they ask what the weird smell and taste is all about.chris11 wrote:Edited by mod

Re: The Hattons next prodigy!!!
if im right GAYnor has fought on small hall shows and under small promoters, that is why he doesn't get the recognition he deserves, im sure somebody said he has signed with maloney nw, which will get him on tv. so what you moaning about?chris11 wrote:Edited by mod

EDIT: This makes no sense now due to the bits that have been removed in the "edited by mod" sweep elsewhere in the thread. I'm baffled as to why he didn't edit this post too if he was getting rid of the rest of it, but there we are.

Why do you seem so agitated about a lack of coverage for your guys, if you feel that the coverage is pointless?chris11 wrote:Edited by mod

Chris...my articles will never propel anyone to stardom...they do that and they do it with good trainers! I neve proclaim anyone the second coming of Christ. I Just do my bit to raise the profile and get people to know the young lads, what makes them tick! When they perform well I give them credit, credit they deserve....that doesn't make me the Delphic Oracle when it comes to their future!
You believe I give myself far too much credit!!!!!

Someone who has experience of dealing with this cretin has told me it's impossible to reason with him. The above post, which as you point out James, completely contradicts his earlier aggressive points, seems to support this observation. Lots of trollish tendencies actually - enough to warrant action - though I'd say he's genuinely unhinged rather than it being contrived.JamesH wrote:Why do you seem so agitated about a lack of coverage for your guys, if you feel that the coverage is pointless?chris11 wrote:Edited by mod

I love Chris shaking trees and seeing how many coconuts fall out.
And for those that criticise him (with some merit where he went a bit personal), yep a different strategy, but you all know who Chad Gaynor is now where before, like me, you didn't have a clue.

Great, great post and shows your class. Wish you good luck in everything you do.alectrifyingalex wrote:@ chris I understand you want to go about getting publicity for your boy but there are right and wrong ways to go about it. As for publicity I don't go looking for it they ask me, possibly because I generally fight on bigger shows and as of such get noticed where a lot of reporters are at, they come to me via facebook and ask me not the other way around as the writers on here will testify. I agree some fighters don't get enough publicity but that isn't anything to do with me. As of fashionable gyms and real fighters, how am I not a "real fighter" am I fictional? Also I have been at 2 pro gyms neither one fashionable, my old one had 2 hardened journeymen, an unlicensed fighter and a super middleweight with 1 pro fight, and the gym was small. The current gym I'm training at just has up and coming fighters like me, its not gallghers gym, not arnies, which are fashionable which do have champions etc. I like to do my talking In the ring not come on Forums and argue and hear my name constantly disrespected by one person, There are fighters who without being disrespectful hence why I won't mention there names who are older who have records worse then mine who fight on smaller shows and get more publicity then me, more money then me, fancy outfit, sponsored etc. Why? Because they actually go out of there way for publicity, put themselves out which in hindsmart is a clever thing to do but i dont believe in doing that and I don't hate on them because I believe in doing my own Thing and keeping my head down training hard, keeping dedicated and fight who my promoter and manager say to fight, I'm not getting caught up in politics and demand to promoters etc and tell them how to do their job, but Steve woods did see me on my debut when I was with FM and said to my manager at the time ronnie davies something around the lines " no I don't want him on my shows as he don't do enough tickets up here and I defintly don't want to risk my prospects against him". If we keep winning our paths are bound to cross. As of amateurs I understand he's done well, but my record was 15-1 and i handled Iain weaver comfortably in sparring and he has done ten times more then your guy or in fact the majority of guys from this country in the amateurs and in my opinion is going to win gold. That's all I gotta say.
