Hoye was highly regarded by magazine. So it was a convincing win.
He should fight a european fighter next
Next British World champion
are you off your fuckin nelly. the top europeans would beat him...such as .....BubiScholz wrote:c´mon, Hopkins wasn´t at his best, he didn´t do more as he needed and Eastman was so disappointing. The impresion was that Eastman just wanted his cheque and didn´t get hurt, over. i watched the fight twice. i am sure he would lose vs Abraham.J wrote:BUBI YOU SHOULD AT LEAST HAVE SEEN THE FIGHT WHEN HE WON THE TITLE TO JUDGE WHETHER HE IS A PAPER CHAMP OR NOT MATE.
THOUGH I AGREE GLENCOFFE JOHNSON IS THE REAL CHAMP.
AS FOR ABRAHAM KILLING EASTMAN GET REAL IF HOPKINS DIDNT THEN fornicating ABRAHAM WONT.
ITS A GOOD MATCH.
FIRST YOU CHAMP STURM NOW ABRAHAM MAKE UR MIND UP MATE.![]()
Regarding Woods we have different opinions. there are many better ones in light heavy. he just had luck regarding the ranking. o.k., he took hi chance. i am sure that all top europeans would beat him.
fornicate me mate we are gonna have some interesting chats when you are over.
my point being you didnt see the fight when he dimsantled a guy who had wins over top ten ranked l-heavies and everyone touted as the future of the div.
easily.
dont be so biased.
i have no problem when you support you own but DO NOT do it the detriment of the other chap who has worked years and long and hard to get where he is.

Don't recognise the WBO, sorry stu mate. As for that lists' chances at one of the big 3 'world' titles:
Reid - maybe, just maybe...
Froch - like knockout said in another thread - let's see what happens when a genuine puncher tests that hands down defence of his (first thing I thought when I first saw him). Otherwise, the punching in combination, hand speed, and attitude (minus smalk talk) are all worthy of a serious contender.
Witter - very impressed with the N'Dou fight. If he can get his stamina better he has a much better chance at any 140 champ than Hatton.
Oboh - simply won't get the shot.
Eamonn Magee and Michael Brodie still have potential, but I think their peaks have shortly passed. Maybe could put Kelly in this bracket.
None of the rest have any chance unless, like Hatton, they get a lucky shot.
