i,m a little confused, i have not seen either fighter, but are they still fighting prelims, as neither appears to have gone over 6,i just hope this doesn,t become the norm, 6 rounders heading the bill.all the best

You and I were both active at a time when any title fight went for 15 rounds. A State Title now is an eight rounder, an Australian title is ten rounds and a World or Commonwealth title is 12 rounds. That is the way they want it.

who do you include in the they catergory, surely not the fighters,in the days your talking about, 4,6,8,and then tens were the rungs up the ladder and then the main,and if successfull a title shot, today they get a shot at some garbage title with a record to be ashamed of,i willnot go to a fight night with a 6 round main ,especially if the boys have never been further than 6, amateur nights are different, a promoter up here is going to go back to the 10 and 12 mains, he told me he thinks it will pull the crowds, he is right, he is one promoter i know is trying to do the right thing, can anyone tell me how the heavyweight on the leapei fight bill got a license to fight ,a 30 loss 3 win record and terrible condition, his trainer should be ashamed,and peapei,s trainer should teach him to stop blocking punches with his head,dangerous times ahead if he steps up to the big punchers.all thebest

Tillman was supposed to be fighting Willie Felipe but we now havent heard back from the guy organising it!!!

Had a bad run of pullouts and show cancellations last 2 months or so but such is the game!
