CONSISTENCY, PEOPLE

So why with all this fuss about FULL names being a necessity, do you present Dwight Muhammad Qawi as Dwight Qawi?

Wouldnt it also to be useful on the records of Qawi, Mustafa Muhammad, and Saad Muhammad, to note after their title winning fights, that they changed their names from Braxton, Gregory, and Franklin to their Islamic alter egos?

I know you guys hate to co-operate but you have to admit in your black evil hearts that this would be of help to boxing fans browsing these records.

Alternate and former names etc are often listed on the WIKI page of each fighter, they are slowley being added, but it takes time.

Thanks for the feedback.

"Thanks for the feedback" but Dwight Muhammad Qawi is STILL listed as Dwight Qawi.

This is incorrect, you should use his full name.

The 'full' name debate is as far as I am aware still ongoing amongst the various editors and slowly being sorted out.

My understanding in Qawis case is that Muhammad is a middle name so is listed on the WIKI page as such.

In the same way that Esdrick Isaac Morales Elvira is listed as Erik Morales.

So explain to me why Matthew Saad Muhammad & Eddie Mustafa Muhammad are listed under their full names but Dwight Muhammad Qawi is listed as Dwight Qawi.

These guys were always referred to by their full names, yet with all the hispanic boxers we're getting parts of the name (sometimes multiple middle names) most fans have never heard of added to their title.

Dwight Muhammad Qawi was his name he was announced as in all his fights, never just Dwight Qawi.
