Senior ABA Champion Anthony Fowler won the overall Boxer of the Season award at the first ever Merseyside & Cheshire ABA Awards night at Liverpool's Adelphi Hotel. In an interview with Hatton TV he pledged to spend the next 2 years achieving his ultimate goal of a place in the GB Olympic team for 2012

He deserves it,he may be Englands best welterweight.He did beat Callum Smith recently,albeit by one point,and Callum is going to the commonwealth games on the back of good international results.
