Why is it bogus? Who are the champions?
Cunningham-IBF.
Huck-WBO
Guillermo Jones-WBA (inactive two years)
Wlodarczyk-WBC.
Apart from Green, who else have you got?
I think it will likely be the WBA champion, who will be Jones or Valery Brudov , or the European champion, who will be Enzo Maccarinell or Alexander Frenkel.
So you have the WBA title being fought out by the aging champion who has not fought in two years and a challenger who has not fought in over a year and a WBC title a light heavyweight relinquished and the current champion won it by beating the guy the light heavyweight beat. Who do you say is going to make up this super six?
Brute, let it go! I know what you're saying about the availability of the other champs for the Super 6, but honestly, to anybody who isn't a staunch Danny Green fan, Danny Green is not considered a world champion!

(awaiting response about Ricky Hatton)
but a promoter looking to put him in a tourney would certainly call him a world champion.
In saying that I don't think Green is any chance of taking the spot.
Yes, of course, a promoter would have no qualms labelling him as such. After all, the wording was merely "a champion", not a "genuine world champion", hence the European holder being a possibility.
I think Green would be a great addition to the Super Six but time isn't on his side at 37, when the tournament figures to last around two years.
Green competes with all and beats most of the Light heavies and cruisers world wide.
A fight with Erdei would be great, I was hoping to see this at Lt heavy.
If not anyone who is at the peak of their game and ranked will suffice.
