No one asked you, did they? The two people in the conversation that you forced your opinion on have forgotten more about boxing than you'll ever know.

Why don't you just stick to giving your expert opinion and inside info with guarantees to the people that think you're important. :P

if its a conversation between them why dont they pm each other?? you fukin dildo its a forum, i can say what i want. why dont you talk on threads other then them being based on you and your brother..or does that make you feel important? what a turd you are.
Here we go with the insults again....
Your screen must be as thick as you, because you're awful hard hiding behind it big boy

Another thread ruined by the boxers/people close to them.

As for my opinion, Smith should be beating Simpson if he wants to be going anywhere. If he struggles and narrowly wins, then he might not get past domestic level. Anything other than a solid win is disappointing.

NOBB is either a poorly educated teenager or a simpleton...or both.

To be fair - HOBB made a reasonable point about the fight and 'Smigga' flamed him like an online forum veteran. And for absolutley no reason. So, in this paticular case - Smigga is the guilty party.

Next we will have John Conteh posting on here, calling us all 'noobs' :box:

Hang on Carlos, read the whole thread - More importantly read every post concerning me that HOBB has commented on. I've bit my lip plenty of times.

This was a respected fighter in Stephen asking a respected trainer in Billy his opinion on the result and ratings of a forthcoming fight outcome. HOBB decided to do what's best and force his uneducated and weak opinion on the matter which I found pathetic. I've 'outed' him many times on here when he's claimed to have sources, inside info and evidence that he actually doesn't have.

I don't claim to be a forum veteran and I haven't called anyone a "noob"
I know that saying what I did would put me up for criticism but in fairness, people can see what's happening with this idiotic child. His balls have dropped, he's going through puberty, wants to fight everyone and tells his 17 year old birds that he argues with boxers online.

There is "previous" between Smigga and Home of British Boxing. There is certainly no love lost there.

I have not seen enough of Stephen Smith, just a couple of brief showings on Friday Fight night. From what I`ve seen however, he looks very good.

Simpson however is no easy task, a solid pro and a tough man, he will not be giving any ground at all. I can`t wait for it to be honest. Problem is I`m in Gdansk on a piss up that weekend, so will have to sky + it and avoid the result.

I know that, in fact we all know HOBB has been needling you and when and where it happens it should be edited (not critique or opinion, which I am sure you agree is a must for any forum that thrives on opinion) I'm suprised though Paul, that you have responded to it on here though. (And I know it must be hard not to as you have stated) You know where you are at and what you can do and the facts speak for themselves. :TU:

HOBB is entitled to his opinion as long as it is done in a respectful manner, when he flames you then by all means go to town on him but in this case. Paul - look - you are the British and Commonwealth champion! Why are you coming down to this level - we all here have dreamt (except for slapbangwallop) of being what you are - I did as I was getting my head knocked off in some community centre in St Helens! :verysad: British champion - and you are letting HOBB wind you up. Step away from the computer, lie down on the sofa, have a nice cup of tea and some biscuits, get some CDs of crashing waves on and chill out! :TU:

Exactly,Carlos.I was getting my head punched in in gyms all across Yorkshire for years and would have given my right arm to be at Smiggas level,it just pisses me off when a guy talks to someone like that.He should have a bit of respect.

It was a good hard fight against Derry but I thought it was the right decision. Simpson is a lot better now than then though, which adds weight to your opinion. I still disagree though, strongly and I am looking forward to our little Swifty becoming the man :TU:

Smith seems to be a strong favorite on this forum---despite being the underdog with the bookies. It can always be difficult to predict the outcome of a bout where one of the competitors is inexperienced, but said to be very talented. I like to base a lot of my prediction on a fighter's resume, so obviously in this case I would favor Simpson. It seems like many people are very high on Smith though. I would say that about 80% of the fights I watch have a clear favorite who should win baring a very poor performance. This seems like it could go either way, so I am anticipating it with excitement.

Should be a great fight cracking way to start off the new season. IF Smith were to win do people think he would go straight into a fight for British title with lindsay? Or after a big win against simpson would there be a few more commonwealth defences for more experience? If Smith wins and then fights Lindsay within next2-3 fights he is already European/Fringe World level after 15 odd fights

If he were to to do Simpson Lindsay in succession that would certainly turn heads wasnt there talk of Lindsay against Dib in some sort of eliminator? Does Ste want to hold the Lonsdale outright and then go the European route or is he looking for the big fights as quickly as possible for the quickest route to the top? Whilst on paper some would say he is inexperienced having only had 10 pro fights i think it would be refreshing to see a prospect pushed fast and matched hard at this stage of his career which i think Ste is perfectly capable of.

I heard the winner will automatically get a shot at Lindsay, whether or not that happens remains to be seen. Going back to the point of being at Euro level or even World level after only 15 fights or so, i think if you good enough then it doesnt matter what age you are. Beibut Shumenov is the current WBA Champ and has only had 11 fights, 1 being a defeat, whether or not he deserved a shot for a World title after 9 fights is a different question.. I personally think Lindsay and Simpson could beat Oleh Yefimovych. Am not saying Smith would not beat The European Champ its just i have not seen alot of Smith but from the noises coming out from pundits, experts, trainers and other boxers all seems to be sounding the same and hes a gem. Bring on Saturday!! £5 er on a draw 28/1..
