Ruben Groenwald WPTS 10 Alan Gilbert.

Nice to see Groenwald back. His first fight on these shores in over 2 years, only his second fight since he lost to Farnell. Now campaigning at Super Middle - anyone know if he is elligable for the British title?

Michael Steeds WPTS 8 Julius Francis.

Francis continues this losing streak, when he loses to a fighter Scott Gammar used as a warm up for Krence then he NEEDS to retire and now.

Anthony Small WPTS 4 Dmitry Donetskiy

Small continues to win, not sure if he has the power to go as far as some people are predicting. Fun fighter to watch though.

Martin Linsday WPTS 4 Rakhim Mingaleev

Linsday wins his second fight against a very frequent visitor to these shores. Mingaleev has been in with the best domesitcally from Super Bantam to Lightweight, but has never troubled any of them.

Ashley Theophane W PTS 4 David Kehoe

Theophane gets his career back on track vs the eccentric journeyman. I remember Kehoe's last fight on the Magee vs Vester bill.

No stoppages on the bill, I noticed. Although, looking at the records of the guys who lost I don't think that was ever in doubt.

Utterlly horrendous about Francis. Boxrec have him at 273lb for the fight, highest he's ever been. You really wonder why he's still going on. Money, love of boxing?

I think he's probably earning good money as a trialhorse these days. It's a shame to see though, I mean 273 lbs is really terrible for Francis, he really cannot be in that good nick.

I only know cos i had the day form hell yesterday.

Went to meet Kev at 4 in covent garden, got to the train station fornicating engineering works, so add an hour to my inward journey.

Met kev went for a pint and a waitress fell over her own fornicating shadow chuckjed half eaten bugers down my jeasn and nearly glassed me in the knee cap.

wathced the boxing good fun, enjoyed that and its always nice to see me old Mucker statto, had to leave at 11.20 cos the show went on and on and won(when will prmoiters realise we wanna see 3 hours of boxing then put the fornicating canberet on.) anyway i had to leave to get the train (in view of engineeriong works) and the fornicating thing broke down outside new cross.

i got on the trian at 11.15 and got in a cab at leiwsham (about 6 miles) at 1.15.

fornicating joy.

I have now decided that unless I am out on a sunday or travelling back, is no longer an option in Lonbon.

On top of that im like a zombie and playing rugby tonight for the first time in 13 years.

In fact Francis looked in better shape than Steeds, but Derek Williams at ringside looked in better condition than both.

Yes, I can agree with J he had a hell of a day, I left before the last fight which Peter Haymer won on points. Fights were delayed by an hour but they still find time to have some bird to sing two songs between the 1st and 2nd fights, and then another between the 3rd and 4th, but then they did get Jocelyn Brown up before the main event and that really got the crowd buzzing, but it was a long evening.

Main fight was a cracker with Groenewald getting the stoppage in the last, he was ahead on points on my card, although the pro-Gilbert crowd didn't agree.

Do you have a PC at home J? I've downloaded absolutely shitloads of Reggae recently, I can burn you a CD if you want, got about 48 hours of tunes which I can fit on 2-3 CD's.

lol ive seen a few battered burgers in my time but that takes the biscuit.

James i do mate but it's a work laptop so i only have work software on it.

if you vcan burn em on normal cds that would be ace mate.

have you read that book yet (i dont want it back just wondered what you thought of the lewis rahmann legal wranglings, fascinated me that did!)

Yes I have mate, it's a great insight, the business side of boxing is labyrinthine to say the least. I love the account of the prelude to the fight too.

Just got an excellent book out of the local library which I can reccomend. Derek Allsop's fighting chance. Focusses on Brian Hughes' stable of fighters and around that neck of the woods. I had the pleasure of speaking to Brian before about the Reid v Ottke fight, kept me on the phone an hour! Ended up chatting about all sorts.

Excellent read. I'd lend it you, but Brixton library might not be too chuffed!

As long as you have windows media player you should be able to play them, through your laptop, you can run a lead from the laptop straight to your amplifier , if that's not too technical for you...

They are just mp3's on CD, so you can play them through the laptop. As regular audio files it would need about 120 CD's to burn them all!

No no! J, what are you on about dial up?

I give you the two CD's which have the MP3'S ALREADY RECORDED ON THEM.

You put the CD in your laptop, run a lead from the laptop to your amplifier, and then press play on the laptop.....The lead costs about 5 nicker from any electronics store. It's what I do at home.

Also, you can probably play them through your X-box, as that has an inbuilt DVD player. If you have a new enough CD player, then it will actually play on that, as a lot of the newer ones read MP3 format.

I can tell this is all going to go whizzing over your head.

it is new mate well 156 months but it wont play those, ta anyway dont worry its not like i dont have enough tunes to keep me happy.....

perhaps if you want bung the best ones on a couple of ordinary cds they woudl be wlecome mate!

thanks i do appreciate it i just dont keep up with modern technology mate.

i spend 8 hrs a day tied to fornicating pc, the last thing i wish to do is spend my weekends unnecessarily logging on etc.

call it a phobia!

Ok mate, up to you. However all it actually involves, is using your PC as the CD player instead of your regular CD player. It's a lot easier for me to just bung you the entire collection however. We'll see, next time I see you, I'll bung you them. I can knock up a couple of CD's of the Reggae Tunes you don't have.

Anyone remember 31 seconds, and no not the so solid tune, 'It's like I'm in a long dark tunnell' was in the lyrics somewhere.

Also, 'Big broad and heavy' not sure what it was called, but great tune.
