I got a room at a local travelodge, 3 miles away, for me and a mate for £52, but they might be full now? They have a few hotels tho within 10 miles which ain't to far to taxi. Best bet is to check on their website for vacancies.

There's the 'Birmingham hotel' (tel: 0121 604 8111) right opposite Small Heath train station about a 20 minute bus ride or a few minutes by train from the LG arena where you can get a double room for you and a mate for £55. Rooms are still available for that date.

The Arden hotel has rooms available. It's around 600 metres from the LG Arena. A family room (with two single beds and one double) is £95 http://www.booking.com/hotel/gb/arden-a ... w#calender

I'll be working ringside on the show (for the Board) and it will be good to meet some Boxrecers, as per usual :TU:
