i think anyone who stand's by there opinion & is passionate should be respected or atleast granted :DD

Ughhhhh ????

Now you have got me wrong!!

I feel totally justified in my criticisms of Jaffa as at the time - I will go no further than that - however I was making my criticisms when everyone loved him etc etc - I feel justified sticking up for him now as it seems the brave forum keyboard warriors are now sticking the boot in when he is at a low which is easy to do!!!

Completely disagree on both counts - I think it will happen.

And as for it not making sense - sorry pal - you are as barking mad as your trainer and them glasses he wears - the reason?? - it will be a massive money making fight for everyone involved.

Barking mad I maybe but I think I know when a fight like Smith Vs DeGale is about to be made..

This is why I think it won't be made.

Paul wants the title outright and after his fight with McDermott he only needs 1 more win and the winner of Anderson Vs Quigley is the mandatory, Paul is also on the verge of a major title I personally feel, The only way I see this fight happening is if Paul get's world title, I think there is more chance of DeGale Vs Groves rather than DeGale Vs Smith just my own opinion of course....

If you're going to have a money fight why not use it to decrease the prospects of a rival? - hence Degale vs Groves. Keeps the heavy-handed Groves from knocking on the door of other fighters in his sights for the forseeable, gives a boost to Degales prospects.

Degale could handle a loss to Groves career-wise better than Smith could, the same goes for Smith losing to Degale... Smith isnt at the career-stage yet where he has to fight off up-and-comers as hes still up-and-coming in a world sense himself.

(just my opinion im not bothered by how many L's a fighter has its how they are in the ring thats the point)

why isn't he. :-?

he's a british champion.

if degale beats dilks he will be deserving of a british title shot.

whether warren wants to do the fight is the question. :box:

The reason I said that is because he has the potential to go further... to use an example someone like Jon Thaxton - all respect due to him but he was not a world-class fighter - he handled himself well at British level and flirted with European level success... that level of fighter has to deal with the up-and-comers, Smigga has potential to get to the world stage and compete IMO, so lets see him in with some international names. Its all very well us lot as fans saying we dont care about the records the fighters have but TV and the armchair fans do care, so if someone has to have losses why not make it some european or american also-contenders rather than three of our more exciting talents who happen to be at the same weight.

lets let them have their own success and make these fights for proper money proper titles and PPV when the States knows who they are because IMO all of them are good enough for that level.

Smigga first, then Groves Degale and Bellew at the weight above could well be our next generation of British World Champions
