Tyson Fury's in good form, at least verbally here.

I'd be very surprised if Minto was rejected for Fury. He always comes for a tear up and has mixed in good company.

Good old Fury, didn't he claim to have the beating of Haye a few months back?

Fury wants Chisora who wants Harrison who wants Haye who wants ????

At least when Tyson Fury gets interviewed you know he is going to call it as he sees it. If Derek Chisora does beat Sam Sexton he has to fight Fury, as Fury has got his mandatory, but Chisora ducks him (which I hope he doesn't as I think it will be a good fight) he will lose all creditability as a top British/European level heavyweight. Besides Chisora says he wants to dispatch David Price, the War machine amongst others as he believes 6 fights away from a world title. I admire his optimism and all that but I just feel that everyone is going to see Chisora as a mouth, and as for Fury's claim that Chisora beat a shot and past it Danny Williams. Hmm I think he is right, Williams has been a good servant for British boxing fighting with plenty of heart but he had been a fair few tear ups which took alot out of him.

I remember Danny Williams actually saying that prior to the fight, and I will admit I too was shocked when I heard Williams making that admission, as it sounded like he was already going into the fight with an excuse should he have lost. But even so I still hoped that Williams could have won it to send to go into retirement on a high, but alas it was not to be, Chisora was hungry enough and wanted to show that he is a genuine force at British level and beyond as Heavyweight and not just a big mouth heavyweight who could let us down.

well he said he was retireing win or lose and you cant go into a fight like that and win unless its against a completely hopeless lightweight moving up (exageration on my part but you know what i mean)

Manchester’s Tyson Fury squares up to brash American Donnell Holmes in an eight-rounder at York Hall on September 10.
Fury, an oversized, overhyped white heavyweight, brings an 11-0 (9) record to the fight but to be blunt has topped a succession of Humpty Dumpties so far. While the 22-year-old traveller has plenty of raw talent and a good dig, he is probably no better than someone like Belfast thumper Martin Rogan right now, except that the comebacking Rogan turned pro at 33 and had to be moved quickly; Fury has all the time in the world.
Nevertheless, Fury gets a reasonable test against the confident, big-talking Holmes, who hails from America’s Midwest and for his own part has beaten an assortment of janitors, night watchmen and gas station attendants in and around his native Ivanhoe in North Carolina to build a record of 32-1-2 (28). His one loss came on a technical decision last year to (surprise, surprise) his best opponent to date in that of Pennsylvania’s Brian Minto, after Minto picked up a bad cut and could not continue. Minto recently made cruiserweight.
Holmes, 37, is a small heavyweight and an old heavyweight but his knockout ratio commands respect and he will give it a go against the Fury, who needs to use his height and reach advantages to their full. Tyson got in a timely nine rounds in June to stop John McDermott and will likely jump off the blocks with jabs followed by long right hands in an effort to win early and impress the TV boys, and a quick win is not out of the question. Much more likely is a late-round stoppage for the promising home man in a lusty, free-swinging, fall-in affair which will have Peerless Jim Driscoll (or Tim Driscoll, as Naz once called the Welsh great) performing cartwheels in his grave.

Funny i remember Fury saying Haye was boring not so long ago.

Personally i dont think Chisora is ducking him, i think it would be a 1 sided beat down with fury on the receiving end.

Chisora v Fury would be interesting, but I think that Chisora would have too much for Fury at this stage of their careers.

I liked the fact that he called Arrolla a 'pie man'. After his disgraceful condition in his last outing he should be more careful in what he says. And I will not buy into the excuse that he did'nt do enough sparring hence his condition, he should have hit the treadmill or road to get some fitness and to lose at least a stone of fat. It was just bloody laziness.

This is a bit presumptuous that Chisora will get past Sexton is it not?

Great interview...Fury always entertains.

If Chisora does beat Sexton, Fury has to be next. You can't talk the talk like Chisora does then not follow it up.

We know Fury is prepared to step up, because he's already done it twice against McDermott, despite some posters being absolutely adamant Fury wouldn't take the rematch.

If Chisora can beat Sexton, which I think is a bit beyond him, then he should have no problem with Fury next. Fury's boxing is nowhere near the level of Chisora, Fury is easier to hit then Sexton also.

Chisora will need to fight Fury in the next few months to give himself the opportunity of a 3rd and final match. I can't see anything other than an impressive victory for SS
