Duran's disasterous start:

Post by Crease »

4 fights into the season, and the highly ranked competitor Roberto Duran still has not won a fight.

When asked at the recent post fight conference the following was said:

From Don Krease, ("only in the sim")
Duran has not had a bad start... He just hadn't started yet! When Duran gets going there will be no stopping him.

The reason why it has not been as succesful as his fans would have liked is, and I can exclusively reveal is... He is currently suffering from an eye problem, one of his eyes have debilating muscles, which will be getting surgery for very soon.

Roberto has been trying to please to many people, taking hard fights... With him being injured, he had no right accepting a fight against Tommy Hearns... So now, we won't please other managers, we will only please ourselves, and do the right thing in recgard to Roberto...
Only the right fights at the right times.

We haven't seen the best of Roberto Duran yet... And managers and boixers alike should tremble at the thought.

From Freddie Roach:
Roberto has been sluggish in sparring, maybe it was a bad idea fighting Hearns, but the hangover from that fight has been felt in week 2, 3 and 4.

Plenty of rest is what Roberto needs... And a fight has already been agreed for him this week. :TU:

It's OK Crease, we know you try your best. Don't be too hard on yourself. Chin up! :TU:

Duran's cack. Hearns is heading towards being a huge bust, and he beat Duran with a bit to spare.

I understand that one body shot seems to be all you've got to brag about this season.

It is still not to late, You can hand Duran over to our Management team or that of MrBuzz or MrMarlin. He will be treated with the respect he deserves and will take his place at the top of the rankings.
