Why doesnt Gary just go about his business in a quiet and unassuming manner - he will get his chance when he deserves it.
He makes out he is being hard done by.
Steve Wood as his manager and Frank Maloney as his promoter - surely you are not stating they are NOT doing their job - perhaps they havnt given Gary his chance yet because they think he is not good enough???

lets not let peoples oppinion hurt boys... end of the day thats all it is n everyone as a right to one.
but top n bottom of it is davis was calling out j.
end of the day everyone in the bantamweight division is, why?
simple.. cos hes the best with the MAJOR titles that evey fighter dreams of.
they all will think they can beat maca... we all dream as a fighter!
but hes out there living the dream.... whilst the rest are chasing it just like he did for a few years as english champion!
n take it from me he has never pulled out of a fight with DAVIS the show the fight was on fell through.
Jamie looks at these fights as a backward step hes the europeon CHAMP looking on to world honours if they become mandatory then these fights will happen trust me. let them hurn it n take there chances just like he did.

fair post mate but doesnt jamie think its right to give someone a shot u talk about earning it but to be fair jamie was very lucky to take napas place so i rekkon if gary wins then all of britain would rather see him defend against davies that a ebu bum 2 b fair mate a ebu defence is a defence wether its with gary or sumone else but britain would rather it be against davies but best of luck to mc donnell watever he does mate i mean that.fightacademy wrote:lets not let peoples oppinion hurt boys... end of the day thats all it is n everyone as a right to one.

same issuses in it?
you n many others thought jamie was lucky against napa! your oppinion
But end of the day jamie won n when he won he beat the mandatory challenger in napa thats why he went on to fight for european only 6 weeks later cos HE beat the mandotory then went to france n beat arould who was a former world title challenger n europeans no1.
i think thats more that a worthy champion.
now IF davis beats hall then beats a top european contender like jamie did (and on away soil)
then davis will earn his shot but all im saying the only way jamie will fight a brit is if there manatory as he sees anything less as a backward step.
jamie is a modest kid doesnt call anyone never as, he does his talking in the ring.
hes what i call a reall fighter done things the hard way too.
cracking young kid and a pleasure to be around.

I know he hasnt - I concede Gary is a very good fighter - but stop playing the hard luck story its boring - the hard luck stories are not just with Gary - many many lads in boxing suffer it - look how long it took Jamie Moore to get to a European title shot - he didnt bleat about it.neil hibbert wrote:now now spud believe me gary has NEVER ducked anybody! in fact hes given weight away many times just to get a fight
I will also concede the winner of Hall/Davies will be looking good for a European title shot after a couple of defences - whether thats against Jamie McDonnell we will see wont we!!!

Gary Daives will do just fine without smelly ****s like you around.
Got to say - I think if Gary doesnt take charge from the bell then the Stuey Hall fight could be very interesting indeed for the first 6-7 rounds - I cant wait for it.

weve been through a lot us 2, gary cant wait to get in there with hall and get that belt back, due to find out the fight details this week so then back into full training, napa managed to hurt hall so my take is what will garys punches do to him?plus people under estimate his boxing ability but well see what happens on the night, gonna be a belter though
