Mosley turns down Margarito!

An executive for a major television network today informed Top Rank that Sugar Shane Mosley has turned down a world title fight against WBO welterweight champion Antonio Margarito. Mosley, Top Rank was told, said he was not ready to take on Margarito who would be too tough of an opponent at this time. Top Rank CEO Bob Arum said Margarito is "far and away the best welterweight in the world and would meet anyone brave enough to fight - including Mosley, Zab Judah, Kostya Tszyu and Oscar De La Hoya."

I'm not surprised...
Dont think he'd beat Margarito so what's the point?

Not sure about Judah Tszyu or De La Hoya though

Everyone seems to have forgotton about Cory Spinks - the guy was winning the Judah rematch untill the stoppage (IMO). He seems to be discarded very quickly.

Only one of those three fighters mentioned in the first post (Tszyu, Judah, DLH) fight at Welter - yet Spinks gets discarded. If Daniel Santos can outbox Margarito, then so can Spinks.

A fight with Margerito right now would be a terrible move for Sugar Shane. he just scored his first win in a while last week and is I'm sure looking at building his way back up before he takes on a dangerous opponent like Margerito. Even then I think Antonio would beat him 7 days a week.
