Degale vs Groves ABA final

I didnt see the fight at the time but having watched it i actually think Degale edged it,Ive been one of Degales biggest critics but i'l give credit where it's due!What's everyone elses opinion on the fight?Did you think Groves won it fair and square or do you like me think that Degale should of got the nod?

I was there and personally thought degale won, but it wasn't a great fight not much landed from either fighter. I felt that Groves, being the new kid on the block fighting in his first aba's and Degale having already won two abas', was always likely to get the nod in a close fight. It had that type of atmosphere in there. As if people needed to see a new promising star coming through. But it was a long time ago and both fighters have obviously improved since, so does'nt mean that much today.

I think Degale might possibly outpoint groves over 12 rounds if they fought today but id prefer to watch groves as i prefer his style.Degale looks too awkward and his technique looks too sloppy at times for me to be a big fan of his.

I was always led to believe they boxed in the final!Duh.Lol.I dont follow amateur boxing too closely i have to be honest.
