Mostly Hip-Hop these days: Jurassic 5, Pharcyde etc. Also the more breaks and beats style stuff: Aim, Rae & Christian, DJ Shadow and so on.

Don't listen to as much as I used to, due to giving up, ahem, 'Chemicals', but I like a lot of Hard House, Trance: Tiesto, Tidy Trax stuff and so on. Same with Drum And Bass: Aphrodite, Dillinja etc.

Also enjoy plenty off guitar based stuff. Roses, Mondays, Blur, Janes Addiction. No metal though.

I cant stand: R&B, dance "music", hip hop, rap "music" ect
I am going to Iron Maiden and Manson in Dublin in August :TU: Are you gonna catch them on tour
I've been having a few drinks with Bruce Dickinson lately - he pops in for beers most nights at my local. Strange, cause you'd never guess he was a metal god - all he talks about is planes, planes and more planes.

My mate is a pilot and flys same airline as Bruce. He used to have a fencing shop localy too, plus writes kids books.

WOW drinks with bruce dickinson metal god in your local! Did anyone recognise him, I imagine not, his fan base is obviously largely alternative. Probably a great situation to be in, you've sold millions of records and are loaded but can still have a drink without getting mobbed.

I like lots of rock, metal, punk, etc, but also delve out in Blues, Jazz, Mozart, some Merle Haggard, a bit of Rap (mainly Eminem).

In an earlier post someone mentioned Manowar, if you like them you should check out Dragonforce, same kind of stuff, but better and a little more current, they play London quite often.

I am going to see GWAR tomorrow, then in the next couple of months, Audioslave and System of a Down, but have seen a couple of Jazz acts recently after seeing Slipknot and Slayer, so I like to mix it about.

Yeah It's a bit surreal...the staff know who he is I guess, but no-one else seems to - short graying hair and no denim or leather in sight.
My mate told me not to mention his rock god status, as he gets a bit embarrassed by it off stage, so like a true Brit I never mention it - though I was thinking of maybe dropping as many of his lyrics into the conversation as possible, while still maintaining an air of being oblivious to who he is.
Daughter to the slaughter would be a bit of a conversation stopper though...

metal and hardcore for me.
Current favourites include; Hatebreed, Lamb of God, Dismember, The Haunted, Superjoint Ritual, Knuckledust, Throwdown, Arch Enemy etc
All time faves; Sabbath, Maiden, Metallica, Crowbar, Pantera, Biohazard, Agnostic Front. And lets not totally dismiss Deicide, Once Upon the Cross is a classic album!
Freiheit what Black Metal are you getting into? Cant beat a bit of Darkthrone or Mayhem, the most horrible, nasty, misanthropic music ever made. Not a ringing endorsement i know but if you're into death metal you're already a bit of a maniac so why not go further!

I think all the guys who are into thrash/death metal and all of those who are into swirly funky R & B should get together and have a fight to the death :TU:

Us cool middle aged guys who are still into The Clash, can start it by telling one group the others said they were "sissys"

Playground. 4.30pm OK? 8)

Most of their early 80's stuff wasn't bad...

I would say up until every other song was a love ballad, they were pretty good. :P
